First time home buyers, I know how scary it can be to go through that process.  My hands were shaking at closing when we signed the contracts for our first home.  It was so scary thinking of paying a mortgage, taxes and insurance.  But, believe me, it was well worth it in the end.  Not only did we save money on our rent, five years later we sold it and made $50,000.  The next owners had it for five years and sold it making another $50,000.  It was a crazy time, we entered the market during a down period, and sold when thing were on an upswing.  Very similar to what we are seeing today.
